Spring ’10 Anime Season
Most of the 12-13 episode series from the recent Spring anime season have finished. It’s a been quite a busy season for me since I was looking forward to Shin Koihime Musou Otome Tairan and Angel Beats. Below are a collection of my thoughts on the series that have finished, or am about to finish. Possible spoiler alert if you’ve not seen these yet.

R1 DVD Haul
It’s been a while since I’ve posted mainly because nothing exciting has been happening. I’d been mulling over a post involving either the current anime season or some anime I’ve recently finished. Then I remembered the Region 1 DVDs I got recently. So why not show them 
.
I’ve not bought anime DVDs for a while now. The main reason being legal streaming sites such as Crunchyroll and FUNimations’ YouTube channel. But there are just some series I had to own; and others that I have yet to see. Here we have:
- Queen’s Blade Volume 1
- To Love Ru Collections 1 & 2
- Baccano! box set
- Strike Witches box set
Winter 09 Anime season half-way impressions
We’re roughly 6 episodes in to the winter 09 anime season and so far it’s been quite good. While there have been less shows I’ve identified as “must see”, of the ones I’ve started watching “just because they are on crunchyroll” I have been enjoying them a lot. I’ll also add any other series I’ve picked up along the way or ones that have continued on from the Fall season.

Fall 09 Anime Season Ends
Well, the Fall ’09 season ended a week or so ago. I’ve been holding off posting, since I’ve picked up and finished some other Fall series over the Xmas holidays just there.
Now I can start looking towards the new season and see what Crunchyroll has to offer. Also got Clannad After Story DVDs on their way – can’t wait to get this one started.

Fall 09 Finished Anime
Fall 09 Anime so far
We’re roughly halfway through the “fall” season anime (at least the 12/13 episode series). I’ve also been watching a few older series during this time as well.
Current Fall 09 Line Up:
11eyes (eps 1-6). This one is quite interesting. A sort of cross between Shana and Fate/Stay Night. It’s based on an eroge, the same studio who did Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka. Story: Kakeru & Yuka (who loves repeating his name over and over) end up in a strange Red world where they are attacked by monsters. Slowly they find more similar people who have special powers and are affected by this alt world as well. They start to group together in order to find out more about this strange world and why only certain people are affected.
