Combat Instructor Alleyne P2 by MegaHouse (Warning NSFW: +18)
Warning: This post contains +18 content, you have been warned.
Way way back in October last year the alternative colour for Alleyne was announced by MegaHouse as part of their 4th year anniversary. She was a HobbyJapan shop exclusive. Luckily Toylet put her up for pre-order back in November and I pre-ordered her as soon as I noticed her listing. Fast forward to now, and here she is
.
Why is Alleyne in red? Well, in her battle book (and in the other Queen’s Blade battle books) there is usually 1 illustration of the character in an alternative colour outfit. Usually the figure manufacturers take this opportunity to create limited edition or exclusive figures based of these alternative colours. Griffon Enterprise have done a similar thing with their rendition of Alleyne, but instead decided on their own colour alternative. They also plan to release a blue version.

Anyway, this Alleyne is 1/8 scale by MegaHouse. Same pose and accessories as her original, the only thing changing is her colour – in particular her hair, outfit and cape. You can see her original colour scheme here.
Alleyne comes in a big pink box, not much else to say, open her up

Close ups
Alleyne’s Combat Staff is the same as her original – the staff handle just has a few more shaded spots.
The hats are similar. The red version is slightly darker than the original – but they both fall off just as frequently
.
The red of her outfit reminds me of Autumn and her white hair of Winter. The original was more Spring & Summer.
Her beige colour cloak is matt finished and doesn’t look as exciting as her original red and gold cloak. But that’s not a problem since we can swap parts
.
The main reason I really wanted this version of Alleyne is her hair. I’m a sucker for white/grey hair; and when I saw her preview shots it was the hair that pulled me in. Her hair has a shiny finish to it as well. The paint finish of her cloak and hair seem to have switched places on this alternative version.
Alleyne can be cast-off the same as the original. Her cloak is removed by pulling off her head.
Some skirt details, her little pouch still present.
To remove her lower half you unclip the buckle and slide off to reveal… Orange leaf pants.
Her top half is removed similar to her cloak, just pull off her head and slide over her neck. Her necktie this time likes to paint transfer at the tip of her neck, but this isn’t an issue since her head sits quite far down the peg and hides it completely.

Because I did this photo shoot cast-off first I took all the shots of her details in cast-off form. So…
Gloves
Boots
Orange Leaf Pants
Now for some fun mixing things ups a bit. The skin colour of both versions of Alleyne is the same, so you can swap heads and parts without worry.
Cape on cast-off
Using the original Red Cape
using original Blond hair
Both the original and Red versions together:
Again I absolutely love this figure of Alleyne. I definitely prefer this red alternative to the original, but both are so perfect I’d be happy with either.

They did her pretty well i must admit, good get!
love the pose =)
She really is lovely, still one of my favourite figures
.
I actually like the alternative coloring a bit better. I own too many greenish elves.
Anyways, she’s gorgeous!
The red is a nice change to her outfit – Autumn-ish colours.
Agreed, gorgeous figure
Wow! You bought both the version huh. Cool! For me, I prefer the original I guess. There are tons of new QB figures up for pre-order lately. Are you getting them?
I prefer the P2 version, mainly due to the white hair.
I’ve only pre-ordered Tarnyan (female twin with red dress) from the recent wave of QB:R figures. I’m still hoping for an Irma figure though.
I’d like to see some of the old characters returning for Rebellion get a figure version. Reina looks totally badass now.
Whooaa awesome figure!
love the queens blade figures always impressive details.
Indeed, although I think all MegaHouse Excellent Model figures have fantastic detail. Their One Piece figures always look great.
I really like this recolored version; the original Alleyne is good but there are so many blonde elves in forest green outfits. Those Sunkist orange underpants are funky, though; I guess she has to do what she has to do when it’s autumn and she’s out of clean panties.
She has such nice shapely breasts
It’s nice that the capes are interchangeable between the two versions. Personally, I think she’d look better with the red cape matched with her red outfit.
@Tier:
Yeah white haired elves are much better if you ask me. Her orange leaves are a bit bright when compared to the rest of her outfit, but then she’s probably going to be naked if you can see them.
@Nopy:
.
Luckily everything is interchangeable, I just thought mixing up her green and red outfit would look really odd. Maybe I’ll give it a go
Red outfit with red cape does look good, but the green outfit with beige cape doesn’t sadly.
