HLJ MegaHouse Sale gets

As most people were probably aware, HLJ was/is having a sale on MegaHouse items. I got there quite late, but there was still some figures going at excellent prices. So I took up their offer and got some more Queen’s Blade merchandise.

[Off-topic:] I liked how they put “Rush to” instead of “Send to” on the address slip; makes it sound like some sort of emergency.

First up is Queen Aldra. She was going for a whopping 70% off! which equated to me paying ~£13. I’m not crazy about Aldra, but I quite liked her in the Queen’s Blade anime.

At this time I decided I wanted to buy Veteran Mercenary Echidna from reading Blowfish’s review & seeing Lylis’ awesome alternative colour version of her. She wasn’t included in the HLJ sale, but since she was in stock at a reasonable price I decided to add her to my order.

This is the “Special Edition” version, which is just a re-release of the original with a pink goo thing and better paint job. I didn’t like Echidna from the Queen’s Blade anime, but when I saw this figure of her I really wanted to get her. Even just looking through the box I really like the details of her face and everything .

And lastly, only because they cost 450¥ I bought these Queen’s Blade cards. They feature artwork of Echidna and Irma, although most of the cards feature Echidna. There’s a total of 45 cards – 5 unique and then 20 doublers.

I still need to unbox both Aldra & Echidna, I’ll probably do it and take pictures while I go. Just got to find the time amongst all my uni work. Dissertations due in at the start of April, so I should really be getting started on it/them – that’s ignoring all the other assignments they like to throw on top of us as well .
