figma 048 Canaan by Max Factory preview + damage report
Yay we got our heating & water fixed today. 4 days of freezing and no hot shower has ended. Yesterday I got a package, but it was so cold I didn’t have the energy to open it (been up for 36 hours too because it’s too cold to sleep 
) . Inside was figma Canaan. 
Here is the box she arrived in.

However sadly, after trying to move Canaans’ right arm down a bit I heard a snap. Her arm went limp. Great -.- .
Here’s the damage.
Her arm is still attached, just by a small thread of plastic. I’m getting in touch with Hobby Search currently, see if they have replacement parts maybe. I hope this doesn’t turn in to another Drossel breaking epidemic .
Yeah, so future figma Canaan owners be extra careful when handling Canaan. Especially her right arm. Hope all this bad luck just now isn’t an indication of the year to come.

OMG!!! Poor you! No heating by a cold like this. Fortunately it’s fixed for the new year.

Awesome little story. Kagamine “miku” was a bit hard on Cannaan.. LooooL
Sorry for her arm… Max Factory should try to reinforce a bit more figma’s joints.
I’m hoping to fix her soon. Got some bits and bobs on the way to attempt to reattach her arm.
LoL. P0wned… At least KagaMiku doesn’t wield a longish katana blade (like my Yoko) to give her judgment…
But still, yeah. figma owners should be extra careful with the joints, any of them. Even my Fraulein Yoko have the same feel (but more durable) so have to be extra careful.
Mr. Cement or Uhu all purpose glue should do the trick.
I’m going to try using a suggestion I got from figure.fm to fix her arm. 1mm pin vices & drills are not common here so I need to wait for my mail order.
I’ll be sure to post if I manage to fix her or not
Yeah, that kind of happened to my Haruhi figma ._. The entire arm snapped off, I had to resort to superglue with bluetak >.<
Ouch

I hope my next figma doesn’t break so easily. I got Canaan fixed in the end, but her arm still doesn’t move very well.
