C.C. and Yuiko {revisit}
I’ve been practicing with my new photo studio. Today it was sunny, so I thought I’d give it a go using natural light. The photos turned out okay, some better than others. The problem with natural light though is it changes quite quickly. So one picture might look okay, the next might look orange.

This is also a great excuse to take some better pictures of the first few figures I looked at.
First up:
C.C. by Banpresto.
Original review here
C.C. from the Code Geass series. I finished watching the first season recently. Really enjoyed it. Just got to wait for season 2 to come out here in the UK. C.C. is an awesome character; not taking any crap from that Lelouch bloke!
No shots without her black jacket. Taking it off always results in more black smudges.
Close ups
Her “lower half” and boots.
These shots were taken the same day I took some with Yoko, just to see how C.C. would look. I like the shadows, although they are quite “cold” looking.
Next:
Kurugaya Yuiko by Kotobukiya
Original review here (Although the pictures aren’t scaled correctly)
Yuiko from the Little Busters! series.
One thing I’ve noticed about this figure is over time her paint has transfered from her hands on to her katana sheath.
Some close ups without her katana.

You did well with your photo studio and natural lightning. It gives a nice result.
That chiffre of C.C is part of the one i like the most. I think she’s so sensual.
Too bad for that ugly black spot under her arm. :/
Thanks!
Yeah, the black paint rubs off from her jacket when you remove it. Underneath it’s even worse. Only ever removed it twice as well.
If I get courageous enough I’ll try using paint thinner to try remove it someday.

Many of these photos came out looking great with the natural lighting!
Love the C.C. ones especially.
Thanks. I’m still getting used to it, but hopefully I manage to improve my photos over time.

You know what I’ve found works on paint transfers? A Magic Eraser xD We have them here in Canada, and they work so well. I thought I’d pass that information a long ^^ Nice reviews!
I’ll keep that in mind, thanks. We’ll have something similar over here so it might be worth giving a try.
